The Scout Law: A Scout is Trustworthy, Loyal, Helpful, Friendly, Courteous, Kind, Obedient, Cheerful, Thrifty, Brave, Clean, and Reverent.
The Scout Motto: Be Prepared .
The Scout Slogan: Do a Good Turn Daily.
We also follow an Outdoor Code.
Outdoor Code: Be clean in my outdoor manners. Be careful with fire. Be considerate in the outdoors. Be conservation minded.
In scouting we stay in a fun environment. We are in patrols of smaller groups that are made by year. We go on 10 campouts a year and have a blast. We also have Merit Badges to explore different careers. Scouting is just a time to have fun. To get the highest rank of Eagle Scout you have to complete the Eagle required Merit Badges, that are, (a) First Aid, (b) Citizenship in the Community, (c) Citizenship in the Nation, (d) Citizenship in Society, (e) Citizenship in the World, (f) Communication, (g) Cooking, (h) Personal Fitness, (i) Emergency Preparedness OR Lifesaving, (j) Environmental Science OR Sustainability, (k) Personal Management, (l) Swimming OR Hiking OR Cycling, (m) Camping, and (n) Family Life. Over all of them you will learn about government, camping, the outdoors, and personal stuff, like staying fit and money.
